The Relationship between Steroids and SARMs
Steroids are chemical ingredients found in our bodies and can be artificially administered to mainly help in muscle building. Sportsmen and women from all parts of the world continue to use steroids without regard to the harsh consequences associated with using them. Men who use steroids are a higher risk of suffering from prostate cancer and also experience reduced production of testosterone. Also, steroids can cause imbalance in cholesterol levels in the body in addition to instigating high blood pressure.
People who use steroids are at the risk of getting side effects that are irreversible, a clear indication of how dangerous the compounds are to the human body. Many sportsmen and women have fallen victims of reduced production of testosterone because of the use of steroids. However, these effects are greatly minimized in use of SARMs. Nonsteroidal SARMs are mainly used by athletes and many other sportsmen because of their ability to affect only selective tissues in the body. Nonsteroidal SARMs are made in a manner that they only attach themselves to areas of the DNA that is necessary for skeletal muscle protein growth and not anywhere else. SARMs only affect tissues where their effect is required and not in other areas such as brain, liver or heart tissues as it is the case with steroids. According to research, nonsteroidal SARMs have been found to enhance libido in both men and women. SARMs are further believed to help in curing diseases that were earlier on triggered by steroids and other drugs. It has been found out through research that side effects of SARMs are very minimal, and therefore there is no need for people using them to worry.
